Condition:Used, original paint wear
Original World War II U.S. Government First Aid Packet tin, Carlisle Model, made by Bauer & Black (Division of The Kendall Co., Chicago). The lid reads "With Crystalline Sulfanilamide" and the base carries the field instructions for the dressing. Olive drab paint over copper colored tin, the personal wound dressing every GI carried on his belt.
