Vintage sterling silver brooch in the shape of a peacock feather, stamped 925 on the back. The "eye" is a cluster of garnets, a pear-cut centre stone ringed by small round garnets, with marcasites set along the openwork vanes and a textured quill stem. Dark oxidised finish that brings out the detail. About 5 cm long, 8.8 g.
Condition: one small garnet is missing from the cluster and two or three small marcasites are missing along the vanes (see the close-up photos).
