Carmel Mizrahi "Private Collection" Cabernet Sauvignon, Galil 1992. A limited series of 19,000 bottles from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in Carmel's Upper Galilee vineyards, aged 14 months in new French oak barrels and further aged in bottle in the winery cellars.
The back label notes that this collection was made only in 1976, 1979, 1981 and 1988 before this vintage. Signed on the label by chief winemaker Israel Flam and winemaker Shlomo Rauchberger. 750 ml, 12%, kosher for Passover.
Condition: high fill level into the neck, original Carmel capsule intact. Labels worn and stained with age, small tear on the back label. Sold as a collector's bottle; after 34 years the wine is not guaranteed for drinking.
